The first laps of Tullyroan Oval will take place this Saturday, May 19th, when a Practice Day is staged. This will run from 3pm to 7pm, and the cost per car will be £25.
Due to work being carried out in the morning, the circuit will only open to racecars at 2.30pm - Please do not arrive before this time to avoid congestion on the road.
All areas around the track are not yet open to spectators, so therefore on this occasion we can unfortunately not accomodate any members of the public - strictly only competitors and their teams. |

This Friday night sees the eagerly awaited outing of the 2.0 Hot Rods at Aghadowey Stock Car Stadium. With points on offer and Ipswich places to be guaranteed, a bumper turnout is expected and the action should be fast and furious.
With the lack of race action at present, Lightning Rod drivers are reminded that they are more than welcome to run with the 2L Sierras at Aghadowey on Friday night to get some seat time in. The Lightning Rods also have a points scoring meeting at Nutts Corner Raceway on Wednesday. |

To help launch the all-new Tullyroan Oval facility, promoter Davy McCall wishes to auction the very first competitive drive on the new track. All proceeds will go to an as yet undecided local charity. This drive will take place in the very near future, and will come complete with all the publicity and press attention that such an occasion deserves.
Do you and your team wish to make history by being the first car on the newly buily facility?? If so, contact Darren Black on 07980 630703 or email info@tullyroanoval.com
The highest bid for the first drive now falls to Thomas Dilly of Dilly Roofing Supplies at a superb £2000

The first regrading of the ProStocks is now available, and it sees NI Points Champion Ryan Abernethy hold a commanding lead over Irish Open Champion Alan Haugh. Both these drivers are still using the older spec cars which become outlawed at the end of June, and it will be interesting to see if they can continue their good form when they change across to the bigger cars. British Champion Dave Morrison currently lies third, ahead of impressive newcomer Andrew Emerson. Indeed, Emerson leads the way after the first round of the P+C Aerials Supreme Series, ahead of Billy Finnegan Jnr and Morrison.

The championship season will soon be in full swing, and invitations have just been received from two promotions regarding forthcoming trips away. Firstly, The ORCi Championship for Lightning Rods takes place at Tipperary MotorSpeedway on Sunday June 10, and will be defended by our own Stephen Emerson. With John McHugh, who originally built the venue back in 1981, back in charge of the racing it should be a great days racing with the Stock Rods ORCi Championship also on the card.
The following weekend sees the ProStocks European Championship take place at Lochgelly in Scotland. Saturday 16th has the first ever staging of the European title, before the Open Scottish Championship, currently held by our own Billy Finnegan, takes place on Sunday 17th.
Any drivers wishing to book in for either event should contact Darren Black.
